How we write guides
Guides are written by the ClipHeron team and checked against the specifications and the platforms’ own help pages, which are listed at the end of each guide with the date they were read. Every worked example uses the same arithmetic as the tools, so the numbers on the page match the prediction line in the compressor or the estimate in the GIF maker. Limits and codec support change; if something looks out of date, the contact page explains how to tell us, and corrections are dated in the changelog.
